Summary of the job: Regional tender process and application owner Chair the MEWA Tender Governance team Cluster tender community (managers and specialists) training Tender process governance including, updating and maintaining SOPs, defining segmentation criteria and driving the simplification framework Single point of contact (SPOC) for I-Tender execution and issue handling from other functions on implementation to avoid having negative impact on the deliverables and business SPOC for ensuring all I-Tender documentation / approvals are stored in line with IAPP / Records Retention guidelines before being interfaced to SAP Lead the discussions with clusters to drive efficiency across MEWA (For Example: tender orders being supplied from distributor stocks, etc.) and overall tender framework enhancements Act as a consultant/escalation point on tender-related matters for all MEWA clusters Duties & Responsibilities Own the pricing tendering process, evolve it, keep it up to date and design a long-term vision/roadmap for the area Review and approval of GDSD for all countries in line with Global pricing policies Review results of profitability analysis on a quarterly basis Provide Tender business insights, forecasts and figures to the business during BP and business reviews Develop the dashboard/KPIs and metrics (with UK and Spanish teams to harmonize the outputs across different regions) to steer the efficiency of the system Lead the assessment and need to link different interfaces (SAP, Galaxy, Europe2, etc.) to improve efficiency, enhance compliance and reduce risks; and actively participate in audits and reviews Define/agree on roles and responsibilities with the Tender Governance team Review regional tender analytics and metrics with Finance to steer targeted profitability and feasibility (analyze price erosion, discount levels, customer service, filling rate, …) Cultivate an external and competitive environment intelligence regarding tendering best practices Work closely with EMEA on developing the Tender strategy for MEWA and Tender management review Qualifications  Education:Degree in Finance, Economics or similar discipline is preferred Experience / Knowledge / skills: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in local/regional/global pricing, and/or finance, and/or Pharma strategic planning, quantitative pricing, tendering, and market analysis Strong data analysis skills Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) Knowledge of Emerging Markets market and business would be an advantage Strong finance background with an exceptional understanding of sales and marketing needs required Excellent financial analysis skills, judgement and problem solving Advanced Excel functionality as well as Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required Advanced SAP SD module knowledge would be an advantage Experience working in a team environment and demonstrated skills of leadership without authority Ability to manage multiple deadlines and to quickly comprehend complex issues Extremely proactive and demonstrates good level of executing and following up on initiatives Strong business orientation, analytical skills and strategic thinking with good interpersonal skills and a high level of self-organization and self-motivation Good communication, both verbal and written and able to articulate ideas in a clear and pragmatic manner   Primary Location Europe/Middle East/Africa-Egypt-Cairo-Cairo Organization Janssen Egypt ()     Job Function Marketing
